Submerged Ultrafiltration Membrane(SUM) is a physical separation technique for drinking water treatment developed on the basis of (Membrane Bioreactor, MBR), a force driven by gravity or other forms of pressure to separate particulate matter from fluids and dissolved components such as colloids, silt, algae, cryptosporidium, Jadi whip caterpillars, E. coli, bacteria and most viruses, etc. SUM has a high removal rate, the driving force is negative pressure suction. SUM is mainly characterized by efficient solid liquid separation, its separation effect is much better than the traditional sedimentation pond, water quality is good, water suspension and turbidity close to zero, can be treated with municipal water supply.
The curtain membrane independently developed and produced by our company has an asymmetric structure. On the surface of the support structure, the dense separation layer is integrated. The filtration accuracy is 0.0341 micron (the maximum pore size  is 0.0552 micron, the minimum pore size is 0.0301 micron, and the average pore size  is 0.0341 micron), and the pore size distribution is very uniform. It has the highest  filtration pore size among hollow fiber MBR membrane modules. Smaller filtration  accuracy can ensure that pollutants can not enter the membrane hole, the formation of  blockage. Therefore, it has great advantages in anti-pollution ability, membrane flux and persistent hydrophilicity
